A 38-year-old man
was stabbed four times
and lost a kidney after an argument that occurred in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Urquiza when he covered the exit of a disused garage with his truck and was attacked by a neighbor with apparent psychiatric problems who ended up in custody. .
Police sources detailed that the event occurred at 9:00 p.m. this Thursday
at the intersection of Olazábal avenue and Pacheco street,
where members of the 12 C Neighborhood Police Station of the City Police were alerted by an incident on public roads.
Upon arriving at the scene, the troops determined that two men had had an argument and that in that context one of them pulled out a knife and cut the other's neck and abdomen.
The discussion between the two began when the victim, identified as Juan Ignacio Graña (38), parked his 4x4 truck, a black Dodge RAM, at the door of a parking lot located on Avenida Olazábal at 4700 that is abandoned and with its gates closed
with chains and
padlock
In that place,
Graña was rebuked by a man
who told him to remove the vehicle because it was covering the garage ramp.
The owner of the truck told him that the parking lot was not working and that he was not going to remove the vehicle.
The discussion escalated into tension and ended on the corner, a few meters from a brewery, when the attacker
returned with a knife and attacked Graña with several stabs

The neighbors were the first to assist him, until City Police personnel arrived and a SAME ambulance took him to the Pirovano Hospital, where he had to undergo
surgery and remained hospitalized

Hours later it was confirmed that Graña
lost a kidney and his spleen was compromised
.
The attacker, meanwhile, was arrested and transferred to the Tornú hospital with a police order to be subjected to an interdisciplinary evaluation, since he apparently presented a
mental disorder picture
.
The spokesmen added that, according to the testimony of a sister of the detainee, the man
has been a psychiatric patient for 15 years
.
In the place where it all began, the residents of the block themselves stuck a poster on the windshield of the RAM truck to announce: "This truck has an owner, who was stabbed in Pacheco and Olazábal on 3/2/23 at 9:00 p.m. hs. and is admitted to the Pirovano Hospital. Soon he will be released by a family member."
The case was in charge of the National Criminal and Correctional Court 3, whose head is Martín Peluso.
