Jake Sullivan says he and Joe Biden took off from Washington for Poland under cover of darkness.

They then drove for an hour to the station in an ultra-discreet 4x4.

Once there, they took the train to kyiv, again in the middle of the night.

The 46-year-old is Joe Biden's national security adviser and accompanied the president on his historic trip to Kyiv.

When it comes to American foreign and security policy, no one is closer to Biden than Sullivan.

The other subject addressed by Sullivan during the interview given on the American channel ABC is all the more important: the coordination with Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on the delivery of combat tanks to Ukraine.
