2023-03-03T09:41:05.145Z

In the midst of a heat wave, and even in summer, stores launched strong offers on refrigeration products. Models and prices.

"

Liquidation in air

", "Summer liquidation", "Change air", "Refresh yourself with these

offers

".

With phrases like those, and in the midst of a stifling heat wave, the main appliance stores launched eye-catching

end-of-season sales

on

refrigeration products

.

Within this framework, those who need to

add or renew

an air conditioner can take the opportunity to purchase this equipment (which will also be used for heating in winter) at prices up to

40% lower

than those in force a short time ago.

In addition, in many cases, they offer to use the official "Now" plans to finance the reduced rates in 12, 18 or

even 24 fixed payments

with reduced interest rates.

A Clarín

survey

, carried out this Thursday in several chains, detected

aggressive discounts

on air from

different brands

, capacities and levels of efficiency.

They are finishing off both traditional equipment and inverter

compressors

, which consume much less energy.

Below, as an example,

12 airs in liquidation

and how much is left in installments.

As with clothing, towards the end of summer seasonal appliances go on sale.

The efficiency label, key when choosing

In addition to the price and the amount of the installments, when selecting an air conditioner it is important to review its

level of

energy

efficiency , since this will have a direct impact on electricity bills for many years.

All conditioners sold in Argentina must necessarily carry

a standardized label

that qualifies their degree of efficiency with a letter.

What this little sticker informs is basically whether the device that has it is one of those that

spends the most electricity

to offer the same amount of cold, or if it is among the most thrifty, or somewhere in between.

Until recently, a scale that included classes D (for least efficiency), C, B, and A (for maximum efficiency) was used to show this.

But, due to technological advances, for split airs a new IRAM standard added classes

A+, A++ and A+++

in 2019 .

The label also reveals the efficiency level of

heating mode

(which may be different from cooling),

noise level

, and other key data.
