Daraa-Sana
Today, a relief aid convoy entered the Nassib border crossing in Daraa, provided by the Syrian community, the Kuwaiti people, and Arab and foreign communities residing in Kuwait for those affected by the earthquake.
The director of the Nassib border crossing, Eng. Shadi Abazid, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the convoy consisted of five refrigerated trucks, which were received by the volunteers of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in Daraa, to transport them to the affected governorates, indicating that it includes foodstuffs, infant formula, clothing, and shelter supplies.
For his part, Hussain Haridin of the United International Meat and Foodstuff Trade Company in Kuwait explained that the company donated the transportation of aid with the aim of delivering it to the affected people, pointing out that it is the least that parents in Kuwait can do for the benefit of their brothers in Syria.
While Fouad Qassem expressed his great solidarity with the Syrian people in their ordeal, pointing out that a new convoy will arrive soon to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake.
