It was just after three in the morning this Saturday when a neighbor of a garage located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito made a comment that triggered the alerts.

"I heard noises on the roof

," he told the agents on duty at the 7C neighborhood police station in the City of Buenos Aires.

The man's notice raised suspicions in the detachment located on Gaona Avenue at 2,700.

And only minutes later they were confirmed: the sounds he had heard

were footsteps that came from a terrace covered with sheet metal

, through which

four detainees had escaped.

These are criminals who had been arrested in the delegation for

theft, robbery and possession of a weapon of war

, and who had carried out an escape plan on Friday night.

Guerrero, one of the fugitives from CABA Police Station No. 7.

According to

Clarín

, the fact was discovered during the night surveillance carried out in the area of the dungeons, in which it is verified that all the detainees are in their cells.

In total there were 17. However, when counting them, the sergeant on duty saw that there were only 13. It was then that he quickly reported the leak to his superiors who, in parallel, were being alerted by the neighbor about the suspicious noises. on the roofs.

Consequently, they proceeded to identify the missing persons and began a search operation in the surrounding area.

The fugitives are four men aged

18, 23, 32 and 34,

who, more than 15 hours after their escape, had still not been found.

Ferreira, one of the fugitives from the CABA Police Station No. 7.

how was the escape

The criminals were being held in

four different cells

, which they shared with other detainees who -despite the facilities- did not escape.

V. Pana was in the first one, as the first fugitive was identified.

He was in jail no. 6, where there were three other people.

As they determined, he reached out his hand through a grating that he had on the window, managing

to open the bolt, which was not secured.

Once the cell was unlocked, he escaped alone towards the interim courtyard, where he continued his plan: he opened the next gate, which locked up four people, and allowed his partner named Ferreira to escape.

He was the only one who decided to leave.

Silveira, one of the fugitives from the CABA Police Station No. 7.

Then he unlocked the next cell, where there were three prisoners and from which only the detainee Guerrero came out.

Finally, he opened the last one, where there were two people detained, and Silveira escaped from there.

Quickly, the four of them climbed through the bars of the inner courtyard and violated another grating until they broke it and managed to get out.

They went directly to a roof with bars that the jail sector has and then escaped through a temporary corridor that is located on the mezzanine of the police station, where they ran until they reached a terrace with a sheet metal roof.

Pana, one of the fugitives from the CABA Police Station No. 7.

That's where they got on and escaped, causing only the suspicion of the neighbor on the block who was the only one who heard the footsteps on the sheet metal.

Once on the street, the four detainees escaped in different directions and, despite the efforts of the agents, at the time of writing this note they had not yet been recaptured.
