On a four-day trip to Gabon, Angola, Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Emmanuel Macron tried not to talk about pension reform, currently under debate in the Senate.
On the last day of his trip, the subject caught up with him in Kinshasa during a press conference with his DRC counterpart, Felix Tshisekedi.
Asked about the risks of a prolonged blockage of the country, the President of the Republic evaded, explaining that he did not wish to speak from abroad on a question of internal policy.
