The Minister of Transportation Miri Regev (Likud) held a conference of activists in honor of Purim this evening, in which she referred to the demonstration in the State Square in front of the Prime Minister's wife's hair salon last week and said that it was a "cassava of terror".
"Hundreds of demonstrators, hatred in their eyes, of the enlightened part as if it were a kasbah of terror," Regev said at the event.
"I don't think there is a sane person left in the country who wasn't shocked by the sight of an elected prime minister being stripped by hundreds of policemen and mobs, and women's rights organizations don't exist when it comes to Binyamin Ben Tsila's wife, and she remains calm, reassuring the book, and confident in the rightness of her way. Regev held a traditional Purim feast for activists in Rishon Lezion.
Protesters against the legal revolution initially planned to demonstrate outside the event, but during the day there were calls to refrain from doing so, in order to avoid provocations by Likud activists.
A significant part of Regev's speech was devoted to an attack on the protesters who, according to her, "are spreading lies in all areas, and all this to prevent the fall of the kingdom of judges. And the people were afraid and did not know whether it was a story or a legend, who to believe, the everyday reality, or the intimidation of the propaganda channels With Drucker and Yonit? These are court clowns, word jugglers, good at tricks, smoke screens, and pranks, whose only desire is to scare and spread lies. Losing anarchists, who are trying to bring about a fratricidal war."
Regev further added: "I call on you citizens of the State of Israel, do not fall for delegitimization, intimidation and hysteria that they are trying to sow in the public. They are creating hysteria for political reasons without having any grip on reality. We are in favor of negotiations and I am in favor of negotiations without preconditions and without stopping the legislation. I call on the members Leader of the opposition, come to your senses quickly, behave responsibly, accept the voter's law with respect."
