The Syrian and Arab community in Canada organized today in front of the US Embassy in Toronto a stand in solidarity with the Syrian people and in rejection of the unjust siege imposed on them as part of the activities of the “Lift the Siege on Syria” campaign.
The participants in the vigil stressed the need to lift the Western blockade as soon as possible, expressing their rejection of the criminal American policy that it practices through this blockade and the resulting disastrous health, service and humanitarian consequences for the Syrian people, especially after the catastrophe of the devastating earthquake.
The participants in the vigil raised the Syrian flag and banners denouncing the siege and calling for its immediate lifting.
