The Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies announced that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 480 Palestinians, including 62 children, during the month of February.
The director of the center, Riyad Al-Ashqar, stated in a statement today, reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that the occupation forces launch daily arrest campaigns against the Palestinians, to harass them and break their steadfastness, indicating that they arrested 480 Palestinians, most of them from the West Bank, during the past month, including 62 children, 10 Palestinians, and 14 Palestinians. from the besieged Gaza Strip.
Al-Ashqar pointed out that the Palestinian prisoners continue their protests in the occupation detention centers, in rejection of the escalation of violations against them, stressing that thousands of prisoners will double their protest steps, denouncing and rejecting the racist measures against them that were recommended by the Minister in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, to harass them, leading to the start of the hunger strike in the first place. from next Ramadan.
The number of prisoners in the occupation detention centers is about 4,780, including 160 children and 29 female prisoners.
