After it had snowed heavily again in some regions of Bavaria last weekend, it seems that winter will start again late in the coming week.
Temperatures will drop towards freezing again.
Meteorologist Dominik Jung announced a "white surprise", predicting snow down to lower altitudes.

Weather in Bavaria: Icy storm brings winter with snow again – “Ten centimeters”
The reason for the weather change in Bavaria is a snow storm approaching Germany from the north.
As meteorologist Jan Schenk of
The Weather Channel
explains in his weather forecast, the storm will bring air from Greenland, causing gusty winds and snowfall across the country.
"Snowstorm Björn moves from the North Sea to Germany".

According to the weather forecast, the cold air has already arrived in Bavaria and will cause the temperatures to drop on Sunday.
Already in the night of Tuesday, Björn brings snow with him in the weather in Bavaria.
Especially in northern Bavaria, the white flakes are said to come from the sky.
The German Weather Service (DWD) on this: "In the night of Tuesday south of the Danube only occasionally, otherwise a little more often snow or sleet and smoothness."
On Wednesday (March 8th), the onset of late winter really hit the Free State.
According to the weather map, it seems to be snowing all day in almost all of Bavaria on Wednesday.
In his weather forecast for Bavaria, Schenk speaks of “ten centimeters of fresh snow”.
He urges caution, as it can get "very slippery" especially in the mornings during rush hour.

In the night of Thursday (March 9th) Björn moves on again.
"Then another snowfall area or rain and snowfall area is coming towards us," explains weather expert Schenk in his latest weather forecast.
At the end of the week, the snow will probably not remain lying there, according to the weather forecast, the temperatures will rise again a little.
