Fini Badash, head of the Omer council who was Roni Shoshan's friend and partner in the plane, paid tribute to him: "Roni was a brilliant man. After he retired from his job at ICL, he started an independent business in the industrial park in Omer. He was my old partner in the plane for more than 13 years."
Badesh also said: "He was an amazing person, a family man. His wife Lilac was also talented, smart and kind-hearted. As far as I understand, this was his wife's first flight with him. This is a terrible disaster in the middle of life. They were in the middle of what they were doing. It's a terrible tragedy."
