The WHO recommends that adults aged 18 to 64 should do at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity or at least 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity per week, or an equivalent amount of time mixing the two modes of activity.

From December last year to February this year, Young Women interviewed 1,128 women, aged between 25 and 59, among whom 58% were grassroots women whose income was below the median family income in Hong Kong.

The results of the survey show that 96% of the interviewed women do moderate-intensity aerobic exercise (such as brisk walking, cycling) for less than 150 minutes a week, and 95% of the interviewed women do vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise (such as jogging, swimming) , dancing, skipping) less than 75 minutes.

Among them, 67.7% of the interviewed women said that they did not do any strenuous aerobic exercise at all.

Only 34% of the interviewed women said they took "10,000 steps per day" on weekdays; 38% of the interviewed women said they "walked 10,000 steps per day" during holidays. On average, less than 40% of women had the habit of "walking 10,000 steps per day".

Overall, 77.3% of the interviewees admitted that they knew that they did not have enough physical activity, and 56% of the interviewed women said that they had no time to do exercise due to their busy work; Family affairs; 34% of the interviewed women said they were too lazy to exercise; 26% of the interviewed women did not exercise because they had no companions.
