Purim 2023: good manna ears, recommendations for delicious manna ears, including Miki Shmo, Breads, Bakery, Maison Kaiser, Tati, Boutique Central and more. All the details in Walla's article! Food >

Quietly quietly, without us saying it explicitly and without being quoted God forbid, it feels a bit like Purim (and its haman ears) is closing a gap from Hanukkah (and its donuts).

It's crazy to think about it out loud, right, and it's no less crazy to try and explain it or convince it, but we insist, it does happen, and you should deal with it in the only way that is currently accepted - some more food and tasting.

The point is that the annual donut festival has done a bit of overkill in recent years, stuck in place and started wading in the deep fat that is the holiday tradition in and of itself.

At the same time, the happy week of Purim (when did it really become a minimum week instead of a maximum of two days?) managed to improve and upgrade, make an effort and manage to get out of the triple box that is the holiday cookies.

And so, no longer mushy or dry, and for a long time no longer loaded with poppy seeds and chocolate and that's it, accept the crisp collections of Haman's ears, and take our word along the way - it's not what it was, it's much more than that.

Happy holiday!
