The young writer Amal Ghanem penned many prose and poetic thoughts and short stories, to excel in the field of literary and creative writing, and culminated in the issuance of her first book, Orchid.
Amal, 23 years old, was born in the village of Al-Mushnaf in As-Suwayda Governorate, and a student in the Mathematics Department at the Faculty of Science at Al-Baath University. Her talent for writing began at the age of fourteen, and her ambition increased at the university level, and she began her actual steps in the world of writing by publishing many texts and thoughts on websites. Social communication, before moving on to search for ways to support her literary career, as she indicated in her interview with a Sana reporter.
Ghanem volunteered at the Al-Yamamah Literary Forum in its infancy, and participated through it in its first literary festival. Then, she volunteered at the Youth Cultural Club of the Arab Writers Union branch in Suweida, where her writings were published in the Literary Week newspaper and Al-Afaq newspaper.
Ghanem noted the great role of the founder of the Sirius team, the Egyptian writer Alaa Sarhan, in refining her talent and embodying it in the form of a book.
Ghanem tries to write about issues of concern to young people in a simple language, away from complexity, touching on their daily problems and suffering.
And about Ghanem's literary experience, screenwriter and member of the Artists Syndicate Ahmed El-Sayed pointed out that he read beautiful phrases chosen with precision and care that are in line with youthful ideas.
According to Ahed Ghanem, the director of the cultural center in al-Mushaf district in As-Suwayda, Amal is an ambitious young woman who has literary and creative inclinations since she was young. She used to participate in the activities of the center and try to provide the best.
Ghanem is working on issuing a new book for her, as she sees writing as an opportunity for her to keep life on paper, and her ambition for excellence and more creativity does not stop at one station.
