In the video: Gafni: In a Jewish country it is impossible not to have an army of Torah scholars (Walla system!)
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu repeated his commitment to increase the budgets for ultra-Orthodox educational institutions that only partially teach core studies, which have been eroded in recent years - according to a statement from the Torah Banner, the ultra-orthodox faction that makes up the Torah Judaism party.
This is a commitment given to Torah Judaism in the coalition agreements, on the eve of the formation of the last government.
The statement of the faction this evening states that "members of the faction heard the review of the meeting of the Chairman of the Movement and the Chairman of the Finance Committee MK Moshe Gafni, and Deputy Minister Uri Makleb with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
It was agreed that the budgeting of the exempt institutions will be equal to the legal obligation today, in accordance with the coalition agreements."

It was also stated in the announcement: "The teams will continue to sit on the completion of the budgeting of the kindergartens, and to formulate a solution for the budgeting of the small yeshivots, the seminars, the ultra-Orthodox development and public transportation."
In recent days, Degal Torah members have expressed anger towards Netanyahu, because in the budget approved about two weeks ago by the government, some of the funds did not appear.
Now, Netanyahu has promised to take care of this as he promised Torah Judaism.
