Anger among the residents of Samaria following the "discrimination of the residents":
Today (Sunday), the head of the Samaria Council, Yossi Dagan, turned to the chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Yuli Edelstein, with a request to examine the conduct of the Central Command: "On Thursday, barriers are placed in front of tens of thousands of residents to prevent them from reaching the rally Identifying with Avitar and a day later allowing the anarchists of the left to block roads in the same place.
A puzzling, severe and discriminatory conduct towards the residents of Samaria.
Demands to find out who made the decision and inspected the house."

It also reads: "On the one hand, the Central Command made a puzzling and disproportionate decision to place four checkpoints (!) at central intersections in Samaria, in order to prevent people from arriving at the solidarity rally with the settlement of "Abitar" after the murder, which resulted in huge traffic jams of tens of thousands of vehicles in Samaria, and on the other hand , a day later, the central command chose not to block the buses of hundreds of anarchists, extreme leftists and Arabs who came to demonstrate in Hawara, as they did to the participants of the rally for Avitar. The extreme leftists parked at the Tapuh intersection without being disturbed and blocked the road between the Tapuf intersection and Havara several times." .

"In this case, the central command took a narrowing step, and blocked the demonstrators from the intersection of the houses in Hawara, that is, the anarchists and the activists of the extreme left came right up to the entrance to the village, and as mentioned, they blocked and harassed, risking themselves and the drivers, both the Tapuf intersection and the road from Tapuf intersection towards Havara. A main road that leads as I recall to the settlements of Gev Ha'er".

"It is clear to any reasonable person that this conduct is characterized by severe discrimination against the residents of Samaria, inequality before the law, and serious damage to the fabric of life of the residents. I call on you, sir, to call for a discussion in the committee and immediately the representatives of the Central Command to explain this farce that must not be changed," it was written.
On Thursday, the "Nachla" movement held a protest and solidarity rally in Avitar following the attack.
Following this, and in order to prevent citizens from coming to the rally, the Central Command placed four checkpoints at huge intersections in Samaria, Alon, Ariel, Git and Tufuh.
