Justice Minister Yariv Levin, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotritz and Constitution Committee Chairman Simcha Rothman today (Sunday) called on opposition leaders to meet for talks with the president this coming Tuesday. The coalition wants to take advantage of the Purim holiday to hold talks with the opposition, which demands a halt to the legislation as a condition for talks.
Starting tomorrow at noon, the Knesset will be on the Purim vacation, and therefore no reform legislation will be advanced. Besides, today in the Constitution Committee, work continues on the reform laws in any case.
