An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck northeast of the Fiji Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center stated that the tremor struck 475 km northeast of Suva, Fiji, and was monitored at a depth of 410 km, and there were no reports of injuries or material damage as a result of the tremor.
