In the shadow of the legal revolution, ARAN revealed the increase in requests for aid against the background of the social situation in the country. "It reflects a feeling of uncertainty about the future in the personal, social and economic context," says the association's professional director. "The demonstrations and confrontations with the police undermine and instill anxiety, regardless of position political"

One out of every four calls to ARAN's help lines on the phone and on the Internet deal with concern and stress over the social situation, in the shadow of the rift in the nation over the government's plan to weaken the justice system. Dr. Shiri Daniels, ARAN's national professional director:

"Beyond the phone lines and the computer screens In the Aran, a feeling of uncertainty about the future is reflected in the personal, social and economic context. This is alongside feelings of confusion, frustration and distress in the face of the present saturated with intense emotions and tensions. Applicants share the tensions they experience in the social relationships, and sometimes the family relationships they manage when opposing positions become the bedrock of the debilitating discord or threatens the relationship".

Daniels added: "Regardless of the political position held by the applicant, the fact that hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets and are involved in demonstrations, together with the confrontations with the police and the images that are difficult to watch, are unsettling and cause anxiety."

The demonstrations continued last night, with an estimated quarter of a million people participating in protests across the country.

Thousands of protesters blocked the Ayalon lanes at the Rokah Interchange and the Shalom Interchange, after breaking through the police barriers set up before the main demonstration in Tel Aviv against the legal revolution.

Although the protestors broke a traffic jam on their way out of Ayalon, in accordance with the policemen's calls, the police fired a stun gun at them. Four protesters were arrested. After about an hour, Ayalon was opened in both directions. On Wednesday, the "National Disruption Day", the protest rose to a level, following a series of

demonstrations In many centers in the country that started in the morning and lasted until the night, and caused many disruptions in the country. As part of the demonstrations, the protestors blocked roads, which led the police to use stun grenades and mortars to disperse them.

About 60 people were arrested during the day of the demonstrations, and 11 were injured and needed medical treatment at the hospital.

Dozens if not hundreds more suffered superficial injuries during the clashes and did not require treatment.
