According to the decision, the committee will be responsible for the government's decisions concerning the Negev, the Galilee, and the national resilience and will include the government's activities concerning the development of settlement, the economy, and the national resilience in these areas, understanding the importance of the unique treatment in these areas, as well as the authority of the committee to act for positive immigration, preventing negative immigration and promoting Demographic growth.
The committee will be chaired by Minister Wasserlauf and its members will be the ministers of finance, national security, the minister of construction and housing, security, welfare, the interior, environmental protection, tourism, agriculture, social equality, immigration and absorption, economy and transportation.
