Lila sang in clubs and grills as a hobby.
That afternoon she made an appointment, she went to rehearse and when she left, her husband, Jorge, picked her up in a Ford Ranger.
They had gone a few blocks when a stolen Hyundai Tucson, with a license plate changed, pulled up in front of them to ambush them.
At least three armed robbers got out and the attempt to defend the truck driver ended with a hail of bullets: he died in seconds and his wife 17 days later.

Six years and three months later, only two of the five members of the band have been detained.
Luis Emanuel García (34), from the Puerta de Hierro village, and Axel Joel Villagra (25), from Laferrere, both in La Matanza, will be tried this Monday, at 8:30 a.m., by the Oral Criminal Court No. 6 Morón, where five hearings are scheduled, up to and including Friday.

Jorge, who was known as "Patón", was a retired metallurgist.
He had a workshop where he worked on the zinc plating process: he gave color to the screws and irons to protect them against corrosion.
His wife was a housewife.

That day my father had retired. In January they went to live in Córdoba, in Villa General Belgrano
," says Lucas.
It was their dream and they couldn't make it come true.
The security cameras recorded the sequence of the crime, which occurred at 9:30 p.m. in Peru and Jujuy, a residential area of Merlo.
When the robbers got out of the Tucson, Videla sped up the Ranger, which he had bought three months earlier, and crashed into them.
There began a brutal flurry of shots.
The weapons and other items seized from the gang.
He died from three bullets (one in the leg and another two in the back), the victim of neurological shock due to spinal cord compromise.
She spent almost three weeks at the Eva Perón hospital in Merlo.
She was sent home for a home admission and she died two days later from a pulmonary thromboembolism.
It was not the first time that these same criminals committed such an act.
The Hyundai Tucson had been stolen from a woman days before.
In addition, after shooting the couple, they took away two other cars (a Chevrolet Corsa and a Peugeot 206), the last of which was driven by a man who was wounded in the head with a rifle butt.
Inside the Hyundai they found a handy, a 9-millimeter pistol charger and other ammunition.
The assailants also had a cause in the federal jurisdiction for a kidnapping for extortion.
And in one of the robberies they had taken weapons from a retired commissioner, who worked as a butcher, in addition to his Volkswagen Amarok.
Jorge Videla (65) and his wife Lila Colombres (60) were murdered in Merlo, to steal their truck.
The arrests were made after an assault on a jewelry store in Colón, Entre Ríos, where the girlfriend of one of them had cabins.
They point to García as the driver of the Tucson when the double crime occurred.
And Villagra would be the one who came out of the trunk to commit the robbery against the couple, as can be seen in the footage.

For the trial 81 witnesses are summoned.

, one of the murderers left his cell phone in one of the stolen cars, which allowed him to be intervened and found compromising wiretaps.
In one of them you can see the power of fire they had.
After a burst of shots, one says:
"That's it!!! Band of bullets... A band of shots rang out, it rang out, how many did you shoot?
".
And he receives the answer: "
I don't know, I threw a band away
".
In another listening, Villagra lists the weapons "lost" in different raids by the Police and his accomplice warns him: "
But these giles are losing all the irons
."
The crime they are accused of includes a life sentence, which is expected by the children of the victims.
The youngest daughter, 27, will not attend the hearings because she does not want to relive the pain.
She lived with her parents and went through a great depression from which she had a hard time recovering.
