The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces targeted and destroyed, during the past 24 hours, many Ukrainian military targets and installations, including missile and artillery systems, in addition to shooting down a helicopter.
The ministry stated in its daily report that the Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment, as more than 500 of its soldiers were eliminated, and dozens of military vehicles were destroyed.
In the direction of Kobyansk, according to the report, at least 40 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and 4 military vehicles were destroyed as a result of air strikes and artillery shelling.
On the Krasno-Lyman axis, the bombing, which was carried out by Russian fighters, artillery fire and heavy flamethrower systems, killed about 180 soldiers, and destroyed military vehicles and an artillery system.
According to the report, the offensive operations launched by the Russian forces towards Donetsk resulted in the killing of more than 210 members of the Ukrainian forces, and the destruction of a number of military vehicles, in addition to the M777 and M109 artillery systems and the Himars missile system.
In the axis of southern Donetsk and the Zaporozhye region, the military operations resulted in the killing of about 80 Ukrainian soldiers, and the destruction of an American-made radar system, while towards Kherson, more than 30 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and 10 vehicles were destroyed.
The report stated that Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, and command centers for drones were destroyed.
