An overseas support and assistance vessel of the French Navy, deployed from New Caledonia, brought nearly 10 tonnes of humanitarian aid on Sunday (family tents, tarpaulins, adult and child health kits, kitchen kits, jerrycans , solar lamps, etc.).
A delivery of humanitarian aid by military aircraft also took place on Sunday and will be followed by a second on Monday, the statement said.
