Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova described US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's initiative to speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in India as an electoral procedure.

Zakharova said in an interview with Russia 1 channel: “This is a planned measure from the beginning in order to somehow flex muscles in international affairs to serve the electoral campaign,” adding: “After a short conversation between the two ministers, the Russian Foreign Ministry monitored a media orgy in the American media when Blinken and the US State Department began their saga about conducting negotiations that amounted to multi-level negotiations for disarmament.

Zakharova stressed that the current US administration has zero achievements, as it failed again with regard to isolating Russia.

On the agreement to export grains and fertilizers across the Black Sea, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said: Russia is ready to fulfill its part if others implement their obligations on an equal footing.

Zakharova added, "This agreement is binding on several parties, not just one party. The other side meets it with manipulation and intrigue. We have fulfilled our obligations and we will fulfill them in all agreements."

And Zakharova continued, in response to a question about the chances of extending the grain deal: “If this is a new scam to get what they need and forget about others, and we saw that in the food deal, then we apologize for participating.”

Food export agreements from Ukraine were concluded on June 22 of last year, and they were signed in Istanbul with a validity period of 120 days. A joint coordination center was formed with the participation of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations. provocative.

In addition, a memorandum was signed between Russia and the United Nations obliging the world organization to lift restrictions on the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets.

The Russian Foreign Ministry had stated that the grain deal did not succeed because the West was obstructing the implementation of the Russian part of the agreements, noting that shipments of Russian fertilizers amounting to 262,000 tons were being held in the ports of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and the Netherlands, and Russia intended to donate them to poor countries. It was released, and it amounts to 20,000 tons, and it is supposed to go to Malawi, but it has not yet reached its destination.
