Munich
– A 20-year-old from the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen was raped early Thursday morning in a Munich hotel.
A 49-year-old Frenchman without a permanent address in Germany was arrested as a suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
The case is dubious – and raises questions.
Commissariat 15, which deals with sexual offenses, is responsible.
As reported by the Munich police headquarters, the young woman, who lives in the Staffelsee area, was approached by the Frenchman at around 3 a.m. in a nightclub in downtown Munich.
He made the student an immoral offer and promised her a six-figure sum of money.
A sum of 300,000 euros was said to be in the room.
In return, she was supposed to perform sexual acts in his hotel room.
Thrown violently onto the bed
The 20-year-old agreed and followed the 49-year-old, who had a 20-year-old male companion with him, to the hotel, which is located near the train station in the state capital.
There she was suddenly thrown violently onto the bed and raped by the French.
The companion was meanwhile in another room of the accommodation.
After the fact, the 49-year-old left the woman.
She was able to leave the hotel unharmed.
She had not received any money.
The victim immediately called the police.
The alleged rapist was then found by the alarmed officers at the hotel and arrested.
An alcohol test revealed a value of over one per mille.
The 49-year-old was reported and brought before the investigating judge.
He issued an arrest warrant.
The man has been in a prison since then.
