On video: A young Arab woman was attacked in the Old City of Jerusalem because she was suspected of being Jewish (Walla system!)
A young Arab woman from East Jerusalem was attacked by Arab youths in the city last Thursday.
This, after they suspected that she was Jewish.
The young woman tried to explain to the attackers that she was Arab, but all her attempts were unsuccessful.
"I'm traumatized," she said in a conversation with Walla!.
"They pushed me and knocked me to the floor."
The police started investigating the case.
The attack took place near the IDF Square in Jerusalem, when the young woman was returning home from work. "Around half past nine I passed by and tried to order a taxi," she returned. "Suddenly three young Arabs, in their twenties approached me and tried to talk to me.
They asked 'Are you Jewish?'
And I asked them in Arabic how they were doing so that they would understand that I was not Jewish.
They were surprised, approached me and pushed me on the floor.
I told them I would call the police and tried to hit one of them but nothing worked.
One of them was very tall and I felt that my fist did not move him at all.
They just didn't believe me that I was Arab"
"I'm traumatized."

In a conversation with her mother, the young woman is heard screaming in panic and calling for help.
According to her, she called the police and a few minutes later a YSM force arrived at the scene. "I directed them and they tried to find the attackers," said the young woman. "My mother arrived five minutes later.
I tried to scream for someone to help me, there were five Arabs nearby who just looked and did nothing.
I was on adrenaline.
My heart hurt a lot.
I want them to be caught and go to jail."
