The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, this morning (Monday) accused groups from among the protesters against the legal reform of encouraging and inciting political murder.
Ben Gabir said in an interview with Channel 2's "Kan" that "among the protesters there are those who are planning the next murder. There are anarchists from the left who crossed the red line a long time ago. Some of them say it out loud - Ben Gabir, Sara Netanyahu, should be killed. Most of the protesters, however, are good and valuable people."
Officials in the police forcefully denied the words of the Minister of National Security and claim that "the police do not have any information indicating that there are protesters planning the next murder."
A group known as the "Leaders of the Struggle Against the Dictatorship" responded: "Ben Gabir continues his campaign of lies and incitement against the reservists, the Heitkists, the doctors, the students and hundreds of thousands of loyalists of democracy and tries to paint them as murderers. There is no dark corner and lie that the serial convict of inciting terrorism will not enter. The government immediately dismisses him from his position."
The chairman of the opposition, MK Yair Lapid, also attacked Ben Gvir: "First the Tiktok clown invented that he looks at screens and gives instructions, this morning he already started inventing 'intelligence materials' that do not exist. This is not only ridiculous, it is also dangerous."
The chairman of the state camp, MK Benny Gantz, tweeted against Ben Gvir: "The chairman of the state camp MK Benny Gantz: I call on Netanyahu to fire Ben Gvir before it's too late. Those who in the past engaged in terrorism instead of enlisting, Delegitimizes the patriotic protesters. Ben Gvir and the instigators are the fuel of the refusals."
