Car crashes into a tree, road homicide hypothesis and omission

The Treviso Public Prosecutor's Office suspects road homicide against the driver of the BMW 420 which collided with a plane tree between last Saturday and Sunday, in Gorgo al Monticano (Treviso) and in which the two girls aged 17 and 19 were traveling years dead instantly.

In addition to him, hospitalized in very serious conditions in the Treviso hospital, the alleged crime is extended to the same age who was driving the Volkswagen "Polo", hit in an attempt to overtake before the fatal loss of control and who could however also be accused of failing to help because, when the rescuers arrived, he was not present on site.

This could be at the origin of the accident that cost the lives of two girls aged 19 and 17 in Gorgo al Monticano (Treviso) on the night between Friday and Saturday.

Perhaps fatal was a collision with a car, a Polo, which preceded the BMW 420. The Polo, according to rumors, was in fact probably damaged due to contact with the BMW.

From the investigations it seems that both vehicles proceeded at a very high speed.

The four passengers, all young, were in the car driven by a 19-year-old from Pordenone.

For reasons under investigation, the car went off the road and crashed into a tree on the opposite side to its direction of travel.

The victims are a 19-year-old of Greek origins who lived in Ponte di Piave and a 17-year-old from Oderzo, who died instantly.

The 19-year-old was seriously injured, taken to the hospital in Treviso, and an 18-year-old from the place transported to the hospital in Mestre.

The Carabinieri of Conegliano intervened on the spot for relief and legal findings.

Eralda Spahllari, 19, and Barbara Brotto, 17, were the names of the two girls who died in the accident.

she attended the Lepido Rocco di Motta school and lived in Ponte di Piave, she wanted to become a beautician, while Barbara Brotto was from Oderzo.

The 19-year-old was next to the driver while the 16-year-old was in the back seat, on the left side, of the BMW 420 which was destroyed in the crash against a plane tree probably due to high speed.

The driver of the vehicle was seriously injured, a 19-year-old from Pravisdomini who was hospitalized in intensive care at the Ca' Foncello hospital in Treviso and an 18-year-old from Motta di Livenza, transported to hospital in Mestre, in serious condition.

The accident occurred in the Municipality of Gorgo al Monticano along a straight road that leads to Motta di Livenza, the locality from which the young people came.
