Erding has again a politician derpel

Was it a coincidence or an expression of great self-confidence?

At the same time as the strong beer was tapped on the Nockherberg, the Erdinger Weißbräu heralded the prosper era in Erding.

Erding - The comparison is allowed because the two years without Prosperanstich in the post office were used creatively.

Now Erding finally has his own strong beer speech again and with it a politician's smack.

The brewery owes it to Hanno Stanzel-Deffner and Dieter Jäckel from Narrhalla Erding.

And something else was new with the Prosper tapping in 2023: It was the first for landlord Mario Pianka, who had taken over the post from the Rötzer family in the middle of the peak phase of the pandemic.

Erdinger managing director Josef Westermeier admitted that the tradition of derblecken, which had existed in Erding before, "unfortunately had kind of fallen asleep".

He wanted a new tradition to grow out of it.

He paid tribute to his master brewer, Norbert Schmank, who has been with Weißbräu for over three decades and “who takes care of the beer with love and passion”.

The Prosper has an original gravity of 18.3 percent and eight percent alcohol.

Among the guests was the Vincenti family from Eitting, in whose Fischerbräu Prosper is brewed.

And then the city saint Prosper Tiro von Aquitaine walked out of the wedding room into the tavern, accompanied by the parade march of the band Ledawix.

Jackel slipped into the costume.

Among other things, he took on the Stadthalle gastronomy, which has been criticized for its new practice of having to pre-order food for balls, for example.

"When I look into the kitchen of the Stadthalle Erding, the word 'crisis hotspot' takes on a whole new meaning." Such a ball season also comes as a complete surprise for the Stadthalle.

"It's obvious that you can't find any service staff there spontaneously," Prosper complained.

For that reason alone it was clever that the job fair took place in the town hall at the weekend.

“Apparently they are not in a position to go to the employment agency on their own to find out about jobs that they have mastered.

Then the mountain comes to the prophet.”

But Mayor Max Gotz, who just before had tapped the first keg of strong beer with three strokes, got his fat off: Erding is probably in direct comparison with the neighboring city of Freising, who has the most monotonous inner city.

Prosper expects more commitment, "not then at the end Forstern or Dorfen passes us".

Weissbräu owner Werner Brombach, on the other hand, received praise, although he was not in Erding, but on the Nockherberg.

The beer namesake acknowledged that Brombach had sent home all beer barons who were interested in buying it.

His conclusion: "You can't buy an Erdinger." And Prosper would dedicate a separate room in the brewery inn to the technical director, Stefan Kreisz - the Kreisz Hall.

On the other hand, he warned sales manager Andreas Brenninger to make sure that no more parasols with a different brewery logo than that of Weißbräu were introduced.

But Brenninger doesn't have it easy, he has to make a beer price increase of 15 cents per pint palatable to the innkeepers.

"That's an additional cost of 3 euros a day for a young elf from Narrhalla Erding," Prosper calculated with laughter.

And then he revealed a secret from Post host Pianka: The real reason why he rarely unlocks the wedding room is due to a spelling mistake.

In fact: There it says: "Foundation Brewery" on the wall.

And he warned Pianka to also put simple dishes such as sausages or sausage salad on the menu.

"Otherwise you have no choice and you have to pay a visit to the Walhalla Kletthams with their Bayern Buddha, the Kreuzeder."

A lapse by the city and folk festival committee could not go unmentioned.

As is well known, a large ride could not be set up because those responsible had mismeasured and a tree was in the way.

"That was really glorious," grumbled the city saint.

"Then Fisch-Bäda thought, if the tree doesn't ask whether it can just stand there, then I won't ask whether my booth can just stand there like that.

Bad luck for him, in Erding there is no tree protection ordinance, but also no fish bath protection ordinance.

He hadn't counted on the resolute mayor and wasn't allowed to open the door.

For Prosper, the Ferris wheel on the Christkindlmarkt right in front of the town hall was the candidate carousel for the mayor's chair - just take a quick look through the window and keep going.

Thinking aloud, Prosper named Alexander Gutwill (SPD), Janine Altheimer (CSU), Petra Bauernfeind as Hillary Clinton Erding (FW), Helga Stieglmeier from the Greens as a “gender fluid candidate for the woke scene in Erding” and “Facebook Woifi “Kellermann from the AfD.

Prosper attested that taking part in the Monday walks might do him good, "because some Facebook comments can only be explained by a lack of oxygen in a musty study".

But then the city saint came to a sobering conclusion for all possible candidates: “Vote for Max Gotz!

Because you know the alternatives.” And Martin Bayerstorfer could go on a record hunt as district administrator.

If he ran again, he could make it to the longest-serving district administrator in Bavaria.

“Martin and Max, you two sun kings.

Your brilliance immediately outshines any potential successor – especially in your own party.”

At the next political Ash Wednesday, however, Gotz should not again make the mistake of stepping up to the lectern as a district day candidate while the church service is still going on next door.

And of course Prosper couldn't resist asking "where was the Erdinger regulatory office, so loved by everyone and valued for its tolerance and friendliness" when the fools collided with the traffic on Shrove Tuesday.

It's a good thing "that the professionals came - the police and the fire brigade.

You can rely on them.” And he wonders why the city center was not closed to celebrating Erdinger, but was closed to the Coca-Cola trucks before Christmas.
