Demonstrators against the legal revolution promoted by the government will arrive at Ben Gurion Airport on Thursday and try to disrupt its activities.
As part of the "Day of Resistance to the Dictatorship" which will be held for the second week in a row, the protestors will travel in vehicles around the airport starting at 09:00 with the aim of making it difficult for passengers to travel.
In the message distributed by the organizers of the protest in Benghazi, it was emphasized that "this protest is non-violent and no illegal action will be carried out." Yesterday, a message was circulated in WhatsApp groups that called to come to the demonstration in exchange for payment.
"Want to make a few shekels on Thursday? Let's stop the traffic, you get 250 shekels + fuel," it says, alongside a clarification: "Those who do not coordinate with the managers will not get paid." The phone numbers of the protest organizers and the link to the group they manage were attached to the message. Having received many inquiries from interested parties, the organizers had to explain that it was a fake message that did not come from them and was intended to tarnish the protest. According to them, they intend to file a complaint with the police after Thursday.
The disruption to routine in Israel will not be the only one on that day. At the weekend, on the stage of the demonstration on Kaplan Street in Tel Aviv, the organizers of the general protest announced a day of disruption throughout the country.
