About a week after the Israeli airlines started flying over Saudi Arabia, we are starting to see the effect in our country - when the prices of direct flights to Thailand show signs of decreasing.
In the search we performed in the various search engines, we found direct flights to Bangkok with El Al in the months of May and June at prices starting from 567 dollars per person, for round-trip flights.
The cheapest price we found is for the dates May 15-28, but there are quite a few dates that are sold at similar prices during May and June as well.
It is important to note that this is not the peak season in the island nation, although many Israelis fly there during this period as well.

Shortening the flight allows the airlines to lower prices during less popular periods, as this is only one of the factors that affect flight prices.
The main factor is supply and demand, and when the demand is relatively low - the airlines can afford to offer cheap prices.
Arkia and Israel Air are still not taking advantage of the shortened flights to the East, but in conversations with the companies' executives we learned that we are expected to see new lines of both to various destinations in India and Sri Lanka.
The flights to these two countries can be made using the narrow body planes of those companies.
