Bardogo on Air Force pilots: "Pus that needs to be removed" (from 94 FM)
Journalist Yaakov Bardugo, who is close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Monday) called the pilots who threatened not to show up for training, "pus that needs to be taken out."
He also said on his and Itamar Fleishman's program "Rabe to Five" on Gali Israel, "The greatest damage of the pilots' protest is to the national pride. I despise you. You bombed and tagged with precision missiles the national pride, the melting pot."
"The same group of pilots, with all due respect to the importance of the squadron, perhaps we also need pluralism in the squadrons. These are no longer the best pilots," Bardugo said.
"This group is committed to itself. The silence of the security system bothers me a lot. With all due respect to the pilots' story, they should be dismissed from the army today. Even if they have to train, then a squadron is grounded as they do."
"The Air Force can no longer remain in its format," he continued.
"It may be that this pus needs to be taken out. Right now, you are a pus that needs to be taken out with all the respect that you are pilots. You will end up being a light hit in the wing as Dan Halutz said."
