Netanyahu on the reservists' protest: "The refusal threatens the foundation of existence" (L.A.M.)
Communications Minister Shlomo Karai this evening (Monday) referred to the reservists' refusal to report to their units as a protest against the legal revolution led by the government.
He compared the servants who asked to go protest to the wicked Haman.
"To the impudent refusers, we will say Mordecai's article to Esther: 'Profit and salvation will come to the Jews from another place, and your father's house will be lost.' The nation of Israel will get along without you and you will go to hell," he said.
"And if we are, we will apply the continuation of the verse: 'And who knows if at such a time you have reached the kingdom' - the reform will move. At such a time we have reached the kingdom."

Yesterday, 37 of the 40 reserve pilots in Squadron 69 announced that they would not show up for the training scheduled for them this week in protest of the legal revolution.
Instead of training, they plan to perform their reserve service in front of government offices, they said.
The squadron, which consists of F-15I aircraft, is used to attack remote targets and was involved in the attack on the nuclear reactor in Syria in 2007.
The commander of the Air Force, Tomer Bar, was previously the commander of the squadron.
In recent weeks, protests have increased among reservists against the legal revolution, including Air Force and intelligence personnel.
In a speech last month, Chief of Staff Hertzi Halevi called on reserve officers to refrain from bringing the controversy over the revolution into the ranks of the army.
