Hôtel Couvent des Minimes, religious architecture
A superior room.

Brick is king in this 17th century building where ocher clay blends with the white chalk of the Artbois hills.
Its founders, the brothers of the order of Minimes, lived until 1791 in this convent which then became a military depot.
In 1990, the premises were transformed into a four-star hotel.
The courtyard of the cloister is then covered with a glass roof under which a platform accommodates the bar and the restaurant.
Around, 83 rooms are impatiently awaiting a renovation planned for the year.
A stone's throw from Old Lille, the walls carry a timeless serenity.

Jean-Paul Viguier signed this triangular and daring architecture bringing together a five-star hotel, a casino and a performance hall.
The famous decorator Pierre-Yves Rochon imagined the 142 rooms and suites bathed in natural light.

The former Polish consulate has been nicely refurbished.
On the sad facade inherited from the Soviet period, an anodized aluminum skin, in relief, has been added.
Total transformation!
Since 2017, it has been attracting the gaze of passers-by while hiding 48 rooms and suites with floral motifs.
This four-star thinks big.
In addition to its two restaurants, The Jane and Ma Reine, it also offers a pastry shop, Le Colibri, whose sweets can be enjoyed in the courtyard.
There, the original facade of the building has been preserved.
