The losses of the Ukrainian forces amounted to more than 160 soldiers, one tank, three infantry fighting vehicles, five armored fighting vehicles, three military vehicles, and a Grad launcher combat vehicle.
A Russian fighter was also shot down in an air battle, a Ukrainian Su-27 fighter, in addition to an Mi-8 helicopter.
And in the Donetsk People's Republic:
Russian air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter, intercepted 15 missiles from American missile launchers (HIMARS), as well as from (Uragan) systems, and destroyed 9 drones.
During the day, Russian operational and tactical aviation, army, missile and artillery forces targeted 86 artillery units of the Ukrainian forces at firing positions, gathering centers of manpower and equipment in 117 districts.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, 396 combat aircraft, 217 helicopters, 3,345 drones, 410 anti-aircraft missile systems, 8,192 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,054 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 4,284 units of field guns and mortars, as well as 8,771 units have been destroyed. of special military vehicles.
On the other hand, the assistant to the acting governor of the Donetsk People's Republic, Yan Gagin, confirmed that about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers are besieged in Artyomovsk.
Gagin pointed out that some Ukrainian units have left their positions, and others are trying to leave while the Russian army's artillery is trying to pursue them, explaining that the Russian forces now control all the entrances to the city.
Artyomovsk is located in the regime-controlled Kiev part of the Donetsk People's Republic, north of the large city of Gorlovka, and represents an important hub for supplying the Ukrainian group of forces in the Donbass region.
