The story of Juan Francisco Fernández Acosta (27) is the same as that of so many Venezuelans who are fleeing the crisis, leaving their friends and family behind and yearning to fulfill their dreams in another country, like Argentina.
"Juan left here alone on November 19, 2019 and took a backpack full of dreams," Asdrubal Fernández, Francisco's father, described to
Clarín
, from Caracas.
"Juancho" arrived in Argentina with the hope of doing some postgraduate studies and deepening his knowledge of the career he had undertaken in Venezuela: electronic engineering.

“He was from another planet, a good man and extremely decent,” Asdrubal recalled.
There were only 28 days left for Juan to turn 28.
He was an only child and, through his work, not only saved but also helped his family in Venezuela.
The witness's account
