Hussein pointed out that the writer must depict his reality as it is and highlight his suffering and concerns, in addition to highlighting the places of beauty and goodness in a literary manner that is devoid of show-off, detached from itself, directed towards creation and innovation, stimulating minds to find solutions away from provoking strife and fabricating problems without an aspired goal for all humanity. .

And for her novel Olga, which won the second prize in the Hanna Mina Novel Competition, Nedaa indicated that she shed light through it on the living conditions and the Syrian society, moving through its events between Russia and Syria, showing the difference and similarities between the two societies in various aspects and the impact of the war on the Syrian reality, in addition to describing nature. Customs and traditions in a manner consistent with events and interconnected with story elements and characters.

Regarding the difficulty of writing for children, the author of the short story collection My Grandmother's Tales, through which she won the Encouragement Prize of the Arab Writers Union, says: “The child is a blank sheet of paper and we are responsible for the ideas that we write on it, not distorting him, but rather preparing him for life by building his personality, forming his concepts and correcting his language properly, and this requires effort.” The biggest and most important thing is not to underestimate the child’s mind and not to underestimate his awareness.”

The daughter of the city of Homs added: “I have loved literature since my childhood, and I read poetry and stories, then novels for children, and then for adults.

The writer of the novel (Cherubim) considered that the award is a great moral value added to the biography of the writer's work and motivates him to give and continue, as it is an honor and a medal that reassures the writer and presents him with the fruit of his labor and effort, and paves the way for him to transcend the message he carries to the world.

And about the criteria that a writer possesses to win any award, the author of the short story collection “The Night of the Fall of the Moon,” winner of the award for writer Najiba Al-Arhouni in Egypt at the level of the Arab world, considers that the criteria are strong possession of the Arabic language as the basis of all sciences, the origin of creativity and the home of beauty, strength and clarification, in addition to For the conscious, motivating, sound idea woven simply and with love for work and readers, while the members of the jury remain the most able to determine the criteria for winning their credibility and teach them their valuable experience.
