Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have confirmed the invitation.
At the moment, however, it doesn't look as if they will attend the coronation of King Charles in May.

A spokesman said the royal couple had received the invitation: "I can confirm that the Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty's Office regarding the coronation.
We will not be announcing an immediate decision as to whether the Duke and Duchess will attend the coronation at this time.” However, there are currently seven reasons against the trip to London.

2. The invitation was made by the Palace, not by King Charles himself
If everything was fine, a father would have called his son and personally invited him to the historic event.
With Harry and the King's relationship currently chilled by the constant onslaught from Montecito, the Sussexes may be offended that they didn't receive a direct invitation.
3. Prince Harry's relationship with King Charles and brother Prince William is bad
While King Charles is suspected of being lenient despite the attacks and jabs against him and Prince William, Prince William's oven is off.
Friends of his have claimed he doesn't want Harry to attend the coronation after he was repeatedly attacked in Harry's memoir Spare.
A source told People

: "William is the one who gets upset the most and needs time to calm down.
He has been portrayed as hotheaded and unsympathetic.
But I don't think he'll back down – the question is will he get over it and accept that they see things differently.” Harry might want to avoid open arguments and that's why he's staying away from the coronation.

4. Prince Harry is worried about his family's safety
Prince Harry had repeatedly asked for armed police protection when he and his family most recently came to the UK for the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022).
Most recently, he had even taken legal action against the Ministry of the Interior to sue for the right.
In July 2022, the High Court ruled in favor of Harry's request to bring part of his case against the government to the High Court.
It should be at the beginning of April, but what will be decided by the 6th of May is written in the stars.
In addition, Harry's decision to write in Spare about the number of Taliban he killed fighting in Afghanistan may have increased his security risks.
5. Poor Sussexes popularity ratings
Polls for Meghan and Harry's popularity have plummeted since they left the royal family, and have hit rock bottom since the duke's memoir, according to YouGov's Royal Family Option Tracker.
Even in America, the couple's popularity has plummeted, according to a recent Newsweek poll.

6. Archie's fourth birthday falls on the historic Coronation Day
Should Harry and Meghan want to come without their children, they would have to skip Archie's birthday, taking the children with them could ruin Archie's anniversary because of the celebrations.
If only Prince Harry came to the coronation, it would be nothing half and nothing whole.
On Lilibet's first birthday during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend, the couple proved that the two can be juggled at an informal garden party at Frogmore Cottage if the will is there.
But it could be cracked.
7. Target of public ridicule
The South Park creators aired a satirical episode starring The Prince and Princess of Canada, who attempted to escape the spotlight on the show.
The episode pokes fun at a copy of the prince's book called "Waaagh" and shows the couple insisting they want privacy.
That's not all: After the angry parody of the cartoon series, America's comedy star Chris Rock (58) is now doing it at Meghan's expense by presenting the duchess's racism allegations in his live show on Netflix ("Selective Outrage") ridiculed.
