In a video posted on social media, you can see the mayor Israel Proosh, son of Minister Meir Proosh, handing out cigarettes to minor residents of the city. No response was received from Elad Municipality

In the city of Elad, the holiday of Purim is being celebrated these days, and from a document published today (Tuesday) on social media, the mayor of Israel can be seen spread out handing out cigarettes to children and boys who live there.

The mayor, the son of minister Meir Proosh, was elected to serve as mayor of Elad in 2013. No response was received from the municipality of Elad.

Crowds celebrated Purim today with parties and parades across the country.

In the cities, parades, carnivals and various shows were held.

Children with make-up, dressed in a variety of colorful costumes, filled the streets and went out to celebrate the customs of the holiday - which will last until the end of the week.



In Herzliya they celebrated in the central Adelaide.

The procession went from Ben Shafer Garden to the square of the city hall - where various activities and a performance of Bohbot Lake were held.

In Givatayim, a procession left at 10:30 from Rehovot Weizman-Aliyat Hanor and the place was visited by about 9,000 participants.

On the main stage, among others, Anna Zak, the Sapir family and Kofiko appeared.

Also, acrobatics shows were held there and various stands were set up.

In Tel Aviv, the celebrations were held in Sharona Park, Clock Square, Beit Ariel, Rabin Square and dozens of neighborhood events and carnivals are held in the community centers.

Oren and Milena, residents of Holon came to spend time with their two and four year old children in parades around the city.

"We want an experience for children, happy here," they said.

"The children are here for the first time and they really liked the dragon dolls."



In Rishon Lezion there was a huge happening with the best female and child stars, performances, dances and songs.

The celebrations were held to mark the 140th anniversary of Rishon LeZion.

The carnival took place in four locations and with free entry: on the Gan Moshava stage, on the Rakfot stage, on the Naot Shekma Park stage and on the Shikhun HaMizrah stage.



The parades that took place starting at 10:00, included performances by the children's stars alongside dance and singing performances by the local stars in Rishon Lezion, inflatable figures, outdoor figures, creative workshops, photographing magnets and more.
