The Israeli army is carrying out a raid on Tuesday afternoon in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, where one person was killed by Israeli bullets and others injured, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry .
The Israeli army said in a brief statement shortly before 3:15 p.m. local time that the Israeli security forces were "
in operation
" in the Jenin camp, which witnesses confirmed to AFP.
The Palestinian ministry said on social media that a 26-year-old man was killed after being shot in the chest.
A little earlier, he had reported five injuries, including one serious, hit in the chest.
