The facts date back to last year, in the city of Roanne (Loire).
On the night of Thursday 20 to Friday 21 October, an individual enters the home of this father, and enters the room of his little girl.
At that time, her mother was alone in the apartment with her children, her husband working night shifts.
The latter, who is not sleeping, is taken aback by noises coming from her daughter's room.
On her way there, she discovers a young man leaning over his child, and screams.
The suspect, surprised by the screams, immediately fled.

The next day, the father of the family tells friends and neighbors what happened, and gives them a physical description of the teenager, according to what his wife saw.
One of the neighbors says he has already spotted the suspect several times in the neighborhood.
The father then decides to organize a round with his friends in the surroundings.
On Friday evening, he comes across the alleged attacker, who matches the description of his wife.
The small gang then masters the individual, and some of its members beat him up.

At the helm, the father of the family admitted the facts, while ensuring that he was in a "
daze
".

I didn't have to take the law into my own hands
," he said, according to
Le Progrès
.
“
I understand your emotion and your anger, but I am also here to say that we cannot accept certain excesses
”, retorted Abdelkrim Grini, the Roanne prosecutor, according to BFMTV.
The prosecution, which had requested against this father a sentence of 18 months in prison, will not appeal.
“
By finding him guilty, the court recognizes that revenge has no place in society
,” commented the prosecutor.
The sexual assault of which the teenager is allegedly guilty is still under investigation.
The minor, in pre-trial detention and indicted for aggravated sexual assault on a minor under the age of 15, disputes the facts.
