The Rosario security forces raided a house in the Godoy neighborhood on Monday night in search of the car from which the shots that killed Máximo Jerez would have started and arrested three other people who could be linked in some way to the shooting
that
ended with the life of the 12-year-old boy and injured three other minors.
The procedure led by the prosecutor Adrián Spelta took place hours after the lynching attempt by relatives, friends and neighbors of the murdered child towards an alleged drug trafficker who they accuse of being behind the crime and who was also arrested.
The newly arrested are
two young men and a woman
who were at the place of the raid, in whose garage they found the vehicle in question, similar to the one in the attack, in addition to seizing 10 doses of cocaine and three telephones that will be examined soon.
This is the first action of this type that the Justice has ordered in the framework of this case and it was carried out in
a neighborhood that is somewhat distant from the place of the murder
in Jerez, which occurred when a group of people had finished celebrating a birthday in the sidewalk on Sunday, in Cabal at 1300 bis, in the northwest of the city.
According to some witnesses, a man fired several times at them and not only hit the fatal victim in the chest, but also
injured three other boys
who were taken by the neighbors to the North Zone Children's Hospital, where they remained hospitalized.

This Monday, shortly after Máximo's wake, relatives of the minor forcibly entered the home of the man whom they pointed out as the perpetrator of the crime in the Los Pumitas neighborhood and, in addition to trying to lynch him, they destroyed, set fire to, and ransacked the facilities
.
located less than 100 meters from the place where Jerez was fatally shot.
A special group of the Police took the defendant out of that house and, amidst struggles, bottle blows and stones, took the alleged drug trafficker away.
They also arrested his wife and two of his children.
The murder of Máximo Jerez
The terrible crime of Máximo Jerez, the 62nd in 64 days in Rosario, happened at dawn on Sunday when a group of people
had finished celebrating a birthday
on the sidewalk, in the northwest of the city.
At the wake, held in police custody, the family of Máximo Jerez denounced this Monday that the perpetrators of the crime in Rosario
fired from a tinted car
.
The aunt of the 12-year-old boy murdered in the Los Pumitas neighborhood warned that another of his nephews was still in serious condition due to the shooting.
"We are wrong, they ruined our entire lives," said the woman.
"We are all hurt because an innocent boy touched us," said Antonia about the critical state of the Los Pumitas neighborhood.
She then highlighted that the deceased child
"was very loved" by the Qom community
living in that sector in the northwest of the city.
Recalling what happened between Saturday night and Sunday morning, the woman specified that
they began to fire shots from a "black car"
with tinted windows.
Her testimony differed from the first official hypothesis, referring to a man who arrived on foot and opened fire on a group of people near the place where the boys had eaten.

The victim's father, for his part, stated that
the murderers "were looking for someone
, but taking innocent people is not worth it."
Julio emphasized that at the site of the shooting "everyone was a child."
Amid speculation about the motive for the murder, Máximo's family denied kinship with Mauro Gerez, imprisoned as the leader of a Los Monos cell that operated in the neighboring neighborhoods of Ludueña and Empalme Graneros.
In this sense, an aunt of the baby added: "I never had a threat in my life. We don't mess with anyone."
