When does Season 2 start?

The start of Season 2 in Fortnite is not far away.

Well-known Fortnite insiders on Twitter recently stated that the new season should start on March 9, 2023.

However, official sources have now confirmed that the Fortnite servers for Season 2 will go offline on March 10th.

The start of the season would then be expected on March 11th or 12th.

According to the current status, there should not be a live event at the end of the current season, but Epic Games is always good for a surprise.

The first hints about the release of Fortnite Season 2 came on Twitter in early March when data miners discovered a new hash flag, i.e. an emoji for a specific hashtag.

As a result, it is now known that the new season will be called "MEGA".

Since then, the leaks have intensified.

The theme of the coming season is said to be mostly cyberpunk, with a lot of Japanese pop culture and lots of neon lights.

There is still no precise information for Season 2.

After all, the developer studio only sporadically shared official trailers or information.

However, many fans are hoping for densely built cities with high-rise buildings, some even talking about a complete city biome, which could make up a considerable part of the new map.
