Fortnite: Season 2 Chapter 4 not far away - starting this week
When does Season 2 start?
The start of Season 2 in Fortnite is not far away.
Well-known Fortnite insiders on Twitter recently stated that the new season should start on March 9, 2023.
However, official sources have now confirmed that the Fortnite servers for Season 2 will go offline on March 10th.
The start of the season would then be expected on March 11th or 12th.
According to the current status, there should not be a live event at the end of the current season, but Epic Games is always good for a surprise.

How long will Season 2 last?
There are no exact details yet, but a few estimates can already be given.
For several years, Epic Games has been running a quarterly rhythm for Fortnite Seasons.
Season 1 of Chapter 4 began in November 2022, Season 2 starts in March 2023. Accordingly, the current assumption is that Epic Games will start the next season in July.
Season 2 should therefore accompany fans until July 2023.

How will the map change?
With every new season of Fortnite, the biggest topic is what new features and POIs Epic Games thinks up for the map in Battle Royale.
There is still no precise information for Season 2.
After all, the developer studio only sporadically shared official trailers or information.
However, many fans are hoping for densely built cities with high-rise buildings, some even talking about a complete city biome, which could make up a considerable part of the new map.
