The warning initially applies to Munich until 6 p.m.
It's even rougher on the edge of the Alps.
There is even a storm warning for "gale force gusts" with up to 90 km/h.
The entire edge of the Alps is affected, from the Allgäu to the Berchtesgadener Land.
The warning is valid until Thursday, March 9, 6 p.m.
