A 17-year-old boy was shot to death today (Wednesday) in Tamra in the Galilee.
In the shooting incident, two other people were slightly injured, who were taken to the Emek Hospital in Afula for medical treatment.
The police who were called to the scene arrested three suspects involved in the case, the background of which is apparently a conflict within the family.
"There was a lot of commotion at the place," said senior MDA medic Anas Awadeh, who arrived at the scene. "The injured were in the street when one of them was unconscious with a penetrating injury.
He was without a pulse and not breathing and we immediately started advanced resuscitation operations that included massages, respirations and giving medication and evacuated him during the resuscitation operations in an MDA intensive care vehicle to the hospital.
The other 2 injured were fully conscious and suffered bruises on their heads and upper bodies.
We bandaged them and evacuated them to the hospital when their condition is stable."
