A Magellan fighter who was on vacation and a police volunteer who was not on duty shot and hit a terrorist in an attack in Tel Aviv this evening (Thursday).
The fighter, who lives in the Dizengoff area, heard a shot and went down to the street with his weapon.
At first he treated the wounded, until he heard that there was a terrorist - and attacked him in the alley, alongside other armed civilians.
The terrorist was hit when he ran into a barricade with a weapon and started running.
A police volunteer, who was not on duty, also shot the terrorist when he came to pick up his daughter from the scene of the attack.
"I shot three (bullets), the policeman three and then, when he was on the floor, they 'knocked' him with more bullets," he said.
