Yesterday at Expoagro, a true classic of the show was launched, the Ternium Expoagro award for Agroindustrial innovation, which reached its 8th edition.
The award seeks to promote and stimulate ingenuity, creativity and the development of technology linked to Argentine machinery, as well as enhance the international competitiveness of the sector.
This is a great opportunity for inventors and developers to show their creations in an international contest.
"It is a seal of quality, a guarantee of excellence that positions the winners and a great diffusion that allows them to publicize their developments in the market. At Expoagro 2023, award-winning developments in previous editions are being exhibited, in the space next to the stand of Ternium. , who officiated as presenter of the event, in which authorities from Exponenciar and Ternium executives participated. among them its executive president Martín Berardi.

The great novelty of this year is that the award will be held annually from 2023. It will also have
new juries
: The Argentine Federation of Agricultural Machinery Contractors (FACMA), INVAP, Argentine Rural Society (SRA), and the Industrial Union (UIA).
Meanwhile, bronze is included in the medal table starting this year and delivery is limited to up to 3 medals per level (gold, silver and bronze).
In turn, there will be new mentions for developments that stand out for their environmental and energy performance and/or reduction of their carbon footprint, for those that generate substantial improvements for intensive and regional crops, and for projects, plans or innovation prototypes developed by advanced students of university careers (+ than 50% of the approved career of related careers), linked to the 12 award categories.
They must contain a descriptive report of the project and/or business development plan.
“The Ternium Expoagro Award is an accelerator, which encourages innovation among competitors and promotes changes towards the future.
In addition, the innovation of the participants also motivates us and pushes us to develop new products to accompany them in their needs”, highlighted the executive president of Ternium Argentina.
The inscriptions for the new contest open from April 1 and there is time until July 30.
