The manager of an equestrian center in Brive-la-Gaillarde has been indicted and remanded in custody for rape and sexual assault on a minor under the age of 15, the prosecution announced on Thursday March 9.
The 39-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after seven women complained of acts of a sexual nature committed between 2004 and 2018, "when they
were members of the club or were training there
", detailed prosecutor Émilie Abrantes in a press release.
The respondent, "
unknown to the judicial services
", disputed the facts while in police custody.
He was indicted for "
rape of a minor under the age of 15
", "
sexual assault on a minor under the age of 15 by a person in authority
", "
sexual assault by a person abusing the authority which confers on him his functions
" and “
sexual harassment
”, and remanded in custody.
