Three people were fatally, seriously and moderately injured in the shooting attack near a cafe on Dizengoff Street and Ben Gurion Street in Tel Aviv.

The terrorist, a 23-year-old Hamas man from a village west of Ramallah, was shot.

A security source said that according to estimates, the terrorist arrived in Tel Aviv independently, but still the area is being scanned to rule out the possibility that he was an aide.

After the attack, Netanyahu said from Rome: "A very serious attack in Tel Aviv. I want to send recovery wishes to the injured, we are strengthening the action of the security forces against the terrorists."

This morning, protesters tried to delay Netanyahu's flight to Rome.

Dozens of people tried to slow down the traffic in Benghazi and disrupt the travel route between the terminals. Finally, through a diversionary operation, Netanyahu was flown in a police helicopter to Benghazi, and from there to the Italian capital.

Demonstrations by Jews and Israelis are expected in Rome tomorrow against the legal revolution, at the same time as the meeting between Netanyahu and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Maloney.
