An investigation was opened after the discovery of the charred body of a man in a wood in Thise, in the Doubs, we learned Thursday, March 9 from the public prosecutor of Besançon Étienne Manteaux.
The body, which was still in flames, was discovered by a woman who was walking her dog in the forest just over a kilometer from an equestrian center.
This resident made the macabre discovery around 8:00 a.m. this Thursday.

The hypothesis of suicide not being completely ruled out, we are awaiting the results of the autopsy which must be performed on the body of the victim on Friday
," said the prosecutor.
The prosecution opened an investigation for assassination and seized the research section of the gendarmerie.
